Farewell Louisiana

The place we purchased our first home, the place where both our daughters were brought into the world, the place of endless friendships, the best prenatal care, ridiculously sweet tea, Gymboree classes, drive thru Cajun Daiquiris, alligator month at story time, summers where wearing shorts isn't only an option it's a must, Britney Spear's home state, where photos with Santa are taken at Bass Pro Shop and those adorable eight tiny reindeer in the backdrop with sparkling eyes are actually stuffed (shh ... don't tell the kids) ... home to the loudest insects after six pm I've ever heard and the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.

Such an important part of our lives was spent in this state and we will dearly miss it. So long Louisiana, we will miss you.
