Wrap Up Wednesday

Wrapping up another week.  Lots of time spent outdoors.  At a friend's house ...

 

Tried to get a photo of me waving to myself in the reflection of Juliet's glasses.  Things got very confusing ...

 

 

We cheered Daddy on at a triathlon ...

 

 

He did great and the girls had so much fun watching.  They were definitely bitten by the racing bug ...

 

 

We hung out at the park where Violet was her usual dare devil self ...

 

 

Juliet wanted desperately to follow in her brave little sister's footsteps ...

 

 

But got stuck more than a few times.  Frightening at first ...

 

 

But sorta funny in the end considering she wasn't all that high up ...

 

 

And the time with friends has been priceless.  It's going to be rough when the day comes that we have to move.  Really rough ...

 

And a park drink break I just couldn't pass up ...

Mobile Monday

Our past week in instagrams (left to right, top to bottom) ... STILL watching swim classes, Violet trying to sneak into the kiddy pool mid lesson, swinging like a big girl, readying with Juliet, Time Hop of Chris setting his bike up at his first Ironman, paint chalking at a friend's house, Time Hop of Violet's first steps taken last summer in Seattle, last swimming lesson (Violet watched with Juliet this time), hanging with Anneliese at the pool (Juliet suffers from severe baby fever), napping, watching Daddy's triathlon, Time Hop more of Vi's first steps, watermelon and backyard pool time (alone while big sister was at the movies with Daddy) ...

 

And ... more pool time, a 3 year ago Time Hop of Juliet that cracks me up, operation "paint Juliet's nails" underway, singing LOUD in the pool (our poor neighbors), back of my camera goodness, and watermelon presents left for me on the back steps (because neither of them knows where the garbage is).

 

Wrap Up Wednesday

Wrapping up another week.  Lots of time was spent at the pool with friends (Monday thru Friday to be exact).

 

And THIS girl ... never a disappointment.

Even in group pictures she doesn't disappoint.

 

Aside from hanging poolside, the girls have hit up the library a few times ...

 

And Paradise Park (to celebrate this sweet girl's SECOND birthday) ...

 

Where there was shopping to be had ...

And face painting.  Juliet specifically asked for a heart on her cheek and a smiley face on her forehead.  I didn't ask questions and just did what I was told ...

Violet also enjoyed Paradise Park.  Pretty sure you shouldn't be standing up there kid ...

 

 

OR stepping into the dollhouse tubs ...

 

 

OR SWINGING FROM THE TOP OF THE SLIDE ...

 

Sheesh.  Never a dull moment.  That's a wrap!

Mobile Monday

Our past week in instagrams (from top to bottom, left to right) ... Juliet's first day of swimming class (she was incredibly brave and lasted almost ten minutes of the thirty minute class), ended up in my lap but I couldn't have been more proud, summer naps, popsicles (with an excuse me attitude), Violet jumping in the kiddy pool (before seven am), Violet's first day of baby waddlers at the pool, Juliet pouting on her second day of swim class (she didn't last as long as the first day ... water got in her eye ... tragic), the girls walking home from a pool playdate, catching a nap where ever she can, day three of swimming (SO proud of this girl for sticking in there, even if she's just watching), more kiddy pool/popsicles in the back yard, day four of swimming classes and she's back in the water by the very end of class when they have "play time" in the kiddy pool, reading with my mini, snapshot of the back of the big camera (we finished another Ramona chapter book together ... she was proud), my new favorite app (time hop) showed me a photo I took exactly a year ago of those sweet girls and Violet sliding (check out those skid marks) ...  

 

 

And ... the girls back at the pool on Friday (we went to the pool every single day last week ... exhausting), latergram of Violet at the park, bathtime, hot pink polka dot nails, fun times in the bathroom at the family fun center in Lees Summit, cooking class at the family fun center (celebrating baby Kate's second birthday), more reading, fast asleep in the car, sister cuddles, Juliet reading in the playroom and lastly, a Father's Day outing to the bike store.

 

Wrap Up Wednesday

Wrapping another week in Missouri.  The weather has been awesomesauce ...

Every ... single ... day.  So we've been basically living outdoors.  In the kiddy pool ...

... and in the sprinkler ...

Oh Violet ...

Then only because we're a bunch of animals in matching swimsuits, we headed to Miss Claire's for more kiddy pool fun ...

There was some baby drama here and there ...

But mostly just a really good time ...

With new Hello Kitty goggles ...

That alone made her dive stance SO much better ...

Aside from swimming, we had some intense times with the iPadd ...

And in the midst of all this fun (indoor and outdoor) we found time to take an occasional bath ...
