Happy 2.5

Tonight my family and I celebrated Juliet's two and a half birthday.  It was technically yesterday, but Friday seemed the more appropriate day for celebrating.  It may seem silly to celebrate a half birthday, but when you have kids that don't live near their immediate family you'll find that Grandparents are quick to celebrate any occasion they can while everyone's together.  Juliet of course loved being the center of attention (even if now she thinks she's 25 years old instead of 2).  She had pizza, opened presents (including lip gloss and a Barbie laptop) and ate cake with her fingers while sissy sat back and watched all the fun.

Along with all the excitement, there was a little confusion ...

... and a new fear of candles; she wouldn't blow them out unless Aunt Hannah helped her.

All in all it was a successful half birthday.  Even with that sugar she still got to bed on time.  Happy 2.5 sweet girl!
