Our past week in instagrams ... top to bottom, left to right.  Color difference between Juliet's top and bottom layer of hair, no naps, spying on neighbors, goofing around in Mama's bed, popcorn & movie night while Daddy works late, more Ramona, couch naps and preparations for Violet's second birthday ...

One ... Two ... Craaaazy Jump!

Couldn't resist blogging these photos of Juliet and her friend Abby working it in the jumpy house during our cookout on the fourth of July.  They were a huge fan of the "one, two, craaazy jump" game ...

 

Just a couple of silly girls ... love them.

Slowly trying to learn how to incorporate videos (using the big camera) into everyday life in addition to photographs.  FYI, I'm terrible at this.  I had major trouble focusing as fast as I wanted to and a lot of the video is of the back of my kids.  It's also long and I'm in none of it so don't bother looking.  The song is eh ... not sure it really goes but I couldn't for the life of me get iTunes to let me use any from our music library.  Colbie was the only appropriate CD I happened to have in my car.  Didn't think Dashboard Confessional would go so well with my girls frolicking in the lake.  Oh, also you can't view it on a mobile devise (including an iPad) ... just the computer.  Thank you YouTube.  It's a work in progress and I've got a lot to learn but wanted to share anyway.  The girls cannot stop watching it.  Hope you enjoy JVFC.  Just the Conant Clan at the lake ... hit the "full screen" button [  ] on the bottom of the screen to view bigger.

Wrap Up Wednesday

This week we went to the lake ...

Where Violet learned how to fly a kite ...

It was about the only time she allowed herself to be in the icky sand ... err mud. 

Definitely not as big a fan as her big sister.  Sorta shocking actually ...

The girls helped Daddy wash the car (he's been home from work most of the week and we've been LOVING it) ...

Well Violet ate more than she helped ...

 

And when Juliet decided to cop an attitude, she put her melon down and was right there to lend an ear ...

There was an occasional bath (only because we've been outside so much) ...

 

And some doctor play  ...

And since I didn't make it in any big camera pics this week, here's a few phone snaps from the lake of me with the girls (thanks to Chris) ...

A day late, but our past week in instagrams ...

Wrap Up Wednesday

Wrapping up another week.  Lots of time spent outdoors.  At a friend's house ...

 

Tried to get a photo of me waving to myself in the reflection of Juliet's glasses.  Things got very confusing ...

 

 

We cheered Daddy on at a triathlon ...

 

 

He did great and the girls had so much fun watching.  They were definitely bitten by the racing bug ...

 

 

We hung out at the park where Violet was her usual dare devil self ...

 

 

Juliet wanted desperately to follow in her brave little sister's footsteps ...

 

 

But got stuck more than a few times.  Frightening at first ...

 

 

But sorta funny in the end considering she wasn't all that high up ...

 

 

And the time with friends has been priceless.  It's going to be rough when the day comes that we have to move.  Really rough ...

 

And a park drink break I just couldn't pass up ...
