Lazy Afternoon With Daddy

Juliet woke up all smiles when her Daddy surprised her with a "time to get up Jay Bird" via Skype.  She keeps telling me she just wants to go home.  It breaks my heart.

Chasing Boys

It was pretty entertaining to hear Juliet at the park introducing herself, "My name Juwiet!" while her newest BFF responded with a, "Hi, I'm a boy!" but to watch my sweet girl chase and be chased by two boys (one of which was the Buzz Lightyear himself, the other being Superman) was possibly the cutest thing I've ever witnessed.  Juliet was of course a "Pinsess".

Shoo Fly!

You do not want to be around this girl when there's a bee (or any bug for that matter) sighting; it's always a tragic event.

Baby's Perspective

What must it be like to be a baby and always see people smiling back at you? Too bad that doesn't last into your adult years; how I'd love to be waited on hand and foot now!

Library Rules

Who actually follows the "inside voices only" and "no running please" library rules anyway?  Well I guess it was made apparant that I failed as a parent to teach my two year old about the rules of the library when Juliet saw her Great Grandma walking cane in hand, into the children's zone and screamed (yes, while running) "GEEEE-GEEEEE" at the top of her lungs.

We went to the Cheney library for story time and unfortunately, it was a complete bust (other than the amazing train set up they had going on).  Although Juliet is the queen of story time in her home town in Louisiana, she was as shy as could be in the tiny Cheney library.  She sat on my lap up in the back of the room until the end where she finally got up enough courage to walk up to the front for a stamp.  She took the smallest steps, letting all the other stamp hungry kids go first.  When she eventually made it to the front she started crying as soon as the librarian spoke to her.  Poor girl.  She never did get her stamp, but had fun collecting books for GG to hold and playing with the trains.

The "J" for Juliet on the story time play mat (where Juliet was supposed to sit).  Not as comfy as Mommy's lap I guess.

Little Monkey

Looks like monkey bars are in this little girl's near future ... along with struggling to see over the wheel while driving and apparently a whole lot of bench sitting.

Can't We Get One Daddy?

It's a good thing Juliet's Daddy wasn't around for our trip to the pet store because we may have just come home with a puppy.
