Spending the holidays without Daddy is never easy, but we are so lucky in many ways. Having two healthy and for the most part happy girls, is all I could ask for. Trying to get pictures of the three of us for Daddy has become quiet a chore these days. There is rarely a shot where everyone has they're eyes open and where no one is throwing a fit (Juliet). Thank you so much Mom for getting these pictures of us. By this point Violet had already managed to drool through her dress so she was back in footy pj's.
Even if Violet was no longer in her dress, they are so much sweeter then our first take ... haha. Although THESE are much more real.
Happy Thanksgiving. Miss you so much Chris and thanks again Mom for the great pictures.
Keeping family and friends up to date on the happenings of our crazy crew.

Grandparents
This evening we headed over to Juliet and Violet's Grandparents house where Juliet ran around like a crazy woman and bossed her Uncle Jon around a bit. She did play-doh, colored, danced in front of the oven window and some math even. Violet slept, ate and did some flash cards with Grandma. Towards the end of the visit, both Grandma and Grandpa got out their guitars and other instruments and sang for the girls. They LOVED it. Juliet's newest favorite song is Rudolph the Red Nosed Raindeer (although she just calls it the "red nose" song). She had her poor Grandpa play that and Jingle Bells over, and over, and over. As soon as he would finish she'd say, "more moosic gandpa?" Haha. He couldn't resist her pouty face ... none of us can unfortunately.
Oh, and how could I forget? Grandma and Juliet also carved their "Thanksgiving Day" pumpkin ... isn't he cute?

Sitting High
Violet sat up in Juliet's old high chair for the first time today. She looked absolutely tiny in it. She was barely able to see over the top, but seemed very pleased to be high enough to see all the action in the kitchen (big sister was helping make pizza for dinner). Every new stage is so exciting, but I have to admit I hate that she's growing up so fast.
